Scriptures:
John 10:10
Psalm 139

“You’re a wizard, Harry.”

Ever wish someone would just walk up to you and straight up tell you who you are and what you’re supposed to do with the rest of your life? Good for you, Harry Potter, but we can’t all have it that easy.

We all want answers to questions like:

Who am I?
Why am I here?
What’s my purpose?

Why do we ask these questions?

Because we are all created on purpose, for a purpose.

The God of the universe created every living being for a purpose—that means you! Psalm 139 says every detail of your life was written out by God before you were even born. That’s purpose. And the only way you will find it is by following the One who wrote it.

“I came that they may have life and have it to the full.” – Jesus (John 10:10)

The only way you will discover your purpose is by following the person of Jesus. He loves and has fought for the real you and wants you to fulfill your purpose in this life.

Maybe you have been trying to figure things out on your own, and you are confused as to what your purpose is. But when you seek Jesus and His purpose for your life, He speaks. He answers. Those who seek Him, find Him.

The purpose you’ve been seeking is hidden behind a person, and his name is Jesus. As you follow Him, he will lead you to the purpose you were created for. That’s a promise.

So take that, Harry Potter.
