The Media Director is responsible for overseeing and enhancing all media-related aspects of the church’s ministry. This role involves creating and managing content across multiple platforms, including graphic design, photography, videography, social media, website management, and overall online presence. The Media Director/Content Creator will work collaboratively with church leadership, ministry teams, and volunteers to effectively communicate the church’s mission and vision in a visually engaging and impactful way.
You will responsible for:
Graphic Design: Create compelling and cohesive visual content for various church communications. Design graphics for digital platforms, print materials, and any other media formats needed. Ensure brand consistency across all materials in alignment with the church’s vision and values.
Photography: Capture high-quality photographs for events, services, and ministry activities. Curate a photo library to showcase church life and ministry impact. Coordinate and manage volunteer photographers.
Videography: Plan, shoot, and edit videos. Collaborate with ministry teams to produce video content that enhances the church’s message. Produce recap videos for events and various services. Create compelling testimonial videos.
Social Media: Develop and execute a social media strategy that engages and attracts new followers. Create and schedule posts, stories, and campaigns for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a sense of community.
Website and Online Presence: Maintain and update the church’s website to ensure a welcoming, user-friendly, and up-to-date online presence. Implement SEO strategies to improve visibility and accessibility of the church’s website and content. Oversee live-streaming experience and execution (distribution strategy) for online services and other events.
Volunteer Coordination and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to assist in photography, videography, social media, and other media needs. Provide guidance and training on equipment, software, and brand guidelines to maintain quality and consistency.
