Money

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.” —Ecclesiastes 5:10

How do we learn not to worship the “almighty” dollar?

Money is a leading cause of stress and a common contributor to divorce in America. If we don’t have it, we’re thinking about how we can get it. And when we do have it, we’re consumed by how to keep it.

Jesus warned people that money would be the biggest competitor for God’s place in our hearts and he was right. We make career decisions based on how much we could earn rather than what God called us to do. And who doesn’t feel a little more secure when their 401K is growing, not shrinking?

Money isn’t bad or evil, but how we manage it will reflect where we place our trust.
