We continued the fight against human sex trafficking in our area by providing 282 rescue kits for those freed by local law enforcement and partnerships, and by donating $25,000 to GiGi’s House. This home houses rescued teens and young adults, and helps them transition safely into their families and society at large.

An army of volunteers tackled 16 different community projects, including GiGi’s House, Special Olympics, handicapped ramps for the elderly, elementary school revitalization, foster family home improvement, and more.

Our second global missions team journeyed to Honduras for a medical mission in partnership with Faith Home Orphanage. Highlights include: 832 people served from 237 families and more than $4000 invested in for medicine, supplies, glasses, personal items, food, and Bibles.

Renewed our partnership with a local special needs organization to serve hundreds of local families with children that have special needs. More than 500 children and their families were provided a “Candyland” experience and invited to R!Kids at Relevant, where they can be loved and introduced to Jesus.

Once again Relevant partnered with Caring For A Cause to host 202 kids and their families at the Christmas Kindness event. At the event, dinner was served and thousands of Christmas presents were given to parents to give their kids on Christmas, and groceries were provided for family Christmas meals.

Further outreach efforts helped serve approximately 1,000 weekend meals to local school children in need through the Backpack Buddies program. Additionally, small group members were empowered to provide 150 Christmas meals and toys to families living in hotels around the McDonough area.
