DAY 12

I love football. I love watching it, playing it, and talking smack about it. I also love fantasy football. I love winning! Now I don’t mind losing, but I won’t let you enjoy beating me. In the fall, every Friday night stadiums in our community are filled with players playing their guts out, fans losing their minds, and parents hoping their children can make it big one day. Thousands of people gather to watch a game and enjoy the evening. But here is the reality—when the game is over and the lights are off, and there is no stage on which to perform, many of those individuals are empty, lonely, and afraid. They are your friends, your coworkers, your family. They need hope. They need Jesus. They have not experienced the joy that you have found. They have no idea that their “best is yet to come.” But only if they put Jesus first.
