Parenting

Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.” —Colossians 3:21

It’s possible to gt it right, even when you’re wrong.

No one is ever fully prepared for parenthood. It’s not until your baby comes home that reality kicks in. This small human is now your responsibility.

Pressure to do the “right” thing comes from everywhere—your parents, his/her parents, friends, even your kids themselves. Everyone seems to have an opinion on the right way to raise kids. However, the most important instruction you will ever receive is the instruction we get from God’s Word.

There are no perfect parents, just imperfect people doing the best they can to train their children in the way they should go. God chose you to be your child’s parent. There is no greater qualification than that.
